1.Introduction
Newskoop (Pty) Ltd (“Newskoop”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a South African media content and communications agency providing news, content, radio, digital media, publishing, communications and related services.
This Manual has been prepared in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and outlines how members of the public may request access to information held by Newskoop. It also serves as a POPIA Privacy Notice explaining how personal information is collected, processed, stored and protected.

6.Processing of personal information

8.Newsletter subscriptions
When individuals subscribe to a Newskoop newsletter or content service, Newskoop may collect:

Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time by way of a reply to OPT OUT in communications or by contacting Newskoop directly.

Newskoop does not sell personal information to third parties.

13.Requesting access to records
Requests for access to records must be submitted in writing to the Information Officer.
The request should include:

- Reason for requesting access where required.
- Preferred format of access.
Newskoop will process requests in accordance with PAIA.
